Do you focus on lack or abundance?

Do you spend most of your time focusing on what you don’t have rather than what you do have?

If you do, be prepared to experience even more lack in your life.

Why?

Everything is energy, including our thoughts, and energy aligns itself with the energy of like frequency or resonance.

(As a side note and a topic for another day, energy just ‘is’. It is the human mind that labels energy as good/bad; lack/abundant.)

Because everything is energy, including your thoughts, when your predominant thoughts are focused on what you don’t have, you are aligning yourself energetically with the resonance of lack.

It’s not woo-woo, it’s science.

The Result?

You draw into your life more experiences (people, places, things, etc.) that you perceive as being lack based.

It’s time for a MindShift Turnaround.

How can you start to turn that lack-based thinking around?

Focus on what you DO have in your life rather than what you DON’T have and to give THANKS for what you have no matter how small you may feel some of these things are.

(Note: This is not an exercise in looking at all the material possessions you have although it is perfectly fine to be thankful for them. Remember to look at all areas of your life. Often the most precious things are the things we take for granted or don’t even notice most of the time. For example – Being able to take a breath, for it is that breath that gives you life).

Make this a daily practice for yourself.

Why do this?

By focusing your thoughts on what you DO have, you are changing your predominant thoughts pattern from one of lack to one of abundance.

Before long, you will start to see how much you really do have to be thankful for. You will see that it is much easier and much more fruitful to focus on the positive. You will also begin to see more positive experiences; people, opportunities, etc come into your life.

Give it a try and see how it goes.
